Abstract:

Since the years 1980, the central African states and governments decided to build together their economies through a common exchange network organ. At that occasion, the Udeac (economic custom union of central Africa) was created in 1964 and will later become the hereby CEMAC organ. The new institution has as duties to put in place a policy which organizes and sustends economic growth of the different states of the Union, despite the lethargy which has been paralyzing states cooperation meantime. Since the years 2010, economic cooperation between central African government and states has been impulsed with another dynamic, through the creation of the Fotrac (Central african boundary trade fare) which is an event gathering women coming from Equatorial Guinee, Gabon, Cameroon, Congo, central Africa, involved in median size economy activities. The present paper has the advantage to outline the action of the Fotrac since its creation in 2011, as a dynamic initiative which has contributed to boost up economic cooperation between the different states of the Cemac Zone.
